Robeson-NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program
Robeson-NASPA Undergraduate Fellows program which is a part of the Phoenix Project Experiential Learning Initiative is a semi-structured mentoring program for undergraduate students wishing to explore and better understand the field of student affairs and/or higher education. Students who receive mentorship by Dean Clayton Walton are given the opportunity to assist in the planning and facilitation of campus wide events, to attend a national conference and participate in paid internships. Each workshop and activity is structured to give participants a unique glimpse into the inner workings and identity of urban college and universities. The goal of this initiative is to increase the number of historically disenfranchised and underrepresented professionals into urban colleges and universities across the country.

Graduate Student Professional Development
The Paul Robeson Campus Center provides a unique opportunity to serve the needs of the campus community as well as the surrounding populous. The Urban Graduate Coordinators Program is designed to provide recent graduates from urban colleges and universities with an opportunity to work within an institution higher education that has a commitment to the community where it resides. The center and its staff are continently challenged to find creative ways to maintain a healthy balance of service through a variety of programs and resources that are designed to capture the attention of all the constituency who utilize the facility.
More than a professional development experiences, this initiative is designed to challenges participants to understand how the urban environment shapes the identity of the institution and its students. Our primary goal is to provide a holistic professional development experience that prepares our participants who are committed to do for research or working in public and private sector organizations in urban communities.
