The Office of Student Life & Leadership coordinates campus programming and advises student organizations. The office is also the home of ADA services and Veterans services at the Rutgers-Newark campus. Hundreds of programs and events are sponsored each year by the Office of Student Life & Leadership and the student organizations. The Office of Student Life & Leadership offers leadership programs for all undergraduate students as well as developmental training opportunities for student organizations. The office offers a wide variety of campus events ranging from films, lectures, and concerts to picnics, bus trips, and heritage celebrations. These programs are usually coordinated with student organizations and are at the center of student life on the campus.
