Welcome to Rutgers-Newark! Whether you are preparing to enter your first year as a college student or you are transferring from another institution, we look forward to providing you with the information you need for a smooth and successful transition. New Student Orientation is your introduction to life at Rutgers-Newark. Participation in its many activities will give you a good foundation to begin your life as a member of our community.                  

All incoming first year and transfer students must attend one of our new student orientation sessions which will be offered on   August 17, 19, 25, and 27. During orientation you will be meeting future classmates, learning about Rutgers-Newark student resources and participating in fun and interactive activities with prizes!!!
